Privacy policy

1. Who is the controller

The controller is Va de Pádel (vadpadel.com), the owner of this website. For any question you can write to vadpadel@gmail.com.

2. What data we handle

This site is informative and has no user account, so there is no sign-up and no player profile. We only handle the data you send us:

  • Your name and your email address: the ones you give us when you write.
  • The content of your message: what you tell us so we can answer you.

That is all. We don't use cookies, analytics or user profiles, and we neither sell nor share your data.

3. Why we handle it, and on what legal basis

We only handle your data to reply to you and to meet the legal obligations that apply to us. The legal basis is your consent when you write to us and, where needed to handle a complaint or a legal duty, legitimate interests and compliance with the law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your message for as long as the conversation lasts and, after that, for as long as the applicable rules require so that any complaint can be dealt with. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, just ask.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. The site is hosted on Firebase (Google), which acts as our processor, and the emails you send us are received in Gmail (Google), which also processes the data on our behalf. Both are bound to process it only on our instructions and in line with the GDPR.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, for its rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and you can object to our processing of it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise them, write to vadpadel@gmail.com from the address you wrote to us from. We reply within a maximum of one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Minors

This site is intended for people over 14. If a minor writes to us, the responsible adult must get in touch with us so we can sort it out.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to the data is restricted to whoever manages it, and the hosting provider takes the backups. No system is infallible, but we do what is reasonable to stop your information from being lost or exposed without permission.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make an important change, we will publish the new version on this page before it takes effect. The date of the last update appears above.
